Sheath's are made of durable Herman Oak leather (made in the USA, made to fit this knife)
 Bloodwood is a rare tropical hardwood found in Brazil. Bloodwood is beautiful dense wood, which is very red in color and holds that color over time. Bloodwood is 230% as hard as red oak. Because of its hardness, must work down the paper grit sizes to sand to perfection.... well worth the work.
